Our thanks to UK Tram for organising an excellent Department for Transport / UK Tram summit, attended by Baroness Kramer for the government - in her keynote speech she used the words Ultra Light Rail so many times we lost count. She emphasised that the future of trams in UK will include ULR and she wants to see a ULR demonstrator project. We were able to report on progress with the refurbishment of our railcar.
